Spirited Away
One of Ghibli's and Hayao Miyazaki's best films. A masterpiece that transports you far away and yet effortlessly enlightens us as to what it means to be human and to cherish the things we often take for granted.

A Prophet (2009)
RT TOP CRITICS: 97%
Available on Netflix Canada.
PLOT: A young Arab man is sent to a French prison where he becomes a mafia kingpin.
IMHO: A great prison drama with some very intense filmmaking and terrific acting. The setting might seem familiar but trust me, it isn't.
